Dr Erin Fuller
Dr Erin Fuller specialises in a wide range of gynaecological conditions as well offering comprehensive treatment options for infertility.
Experience and Qualifications
After graduating from the University of Newcastle with honours, Erin undertook speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the John Hunter Hospital before moving to Sydney to complete a fellowship in advanced reproductive laparoscopic surgery and further training in obstetrics, gynaecology and infertility. During her training Erin also completed a Masters of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales.
Erin returned to her home town of Newcastle in 2013 to set up private practice and help more local families achieve their dream of taking home a healthy baby.
Erin is a staff specialist at the John Hunter Hospital in the department of obsterics and gynaecology. She runs the public infertility clinic at the John Hunter Hospital. On some days a gynaecology doctor in training spends time with her in private practice as part of their education.
Erin welcomes patients and couples from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and surrounding areas. Couples requiring fertility treatment will undergo their procedures locally at Lingard Hospital, Merewether through Genea.
Erin takes an individualized approach to managing her patients. She has a special interest in endometriosis. She enourages phone and email communication throughout a patient's treatment.
Erin started a family of her own with her husband Dean giving birth to her daughter in January 2015. She enjoys skiing, reading and spending time with her family.
Erin is pleased to announce she is expecting her second child in November 2017 & will be taking maternity leave from October. Dr McIlveen will be looking after Dr Fuller's patients whilst she is on leave.
